Expansion for
Fantasy Flight Games

Ah, California: sunshine, ocean breezes, and radioactive wasteland as far as the eye can see. This desolate coastal state was once a shining jewel, but since the Great War, the region known as New California has fallen into chaos. Which is great news! Where there’s chaos, there’s loot!

The New California expansion brings all-new challenges to the irradiated landscape inspired by Bethesda’s blockbuster video game series, inviting you cover even more ground when you return to the four scenarios you experienced in Fallout: The Board Game or enter sunny New California in two brand-new scenarios. While you're on these adventures, you can visit some of the most memorable locations from throughout the Fallout series, plumbing the depths of The Hole, breaking into the Lost Hills Bunker, or venturing into the imposing Cathedral.

Includes 12 new map tiles, 5 new survivors, and new rules for cooperative play.

I will absolutely get this. My kids love this game more than any game they have played.

Excellent news! I really hope it adds more reputation cards for 1 and 2 player games.

At some point I will have to get the base. I still haven’t played it and I feel, now, enough time has passed that I have to.

Until they fix (change) the win condition I'm no interested in this game. Played it twice and it has good theme and some great mechanics but how you win the game sucks most of the fun out of it.

I agree that the victory condition is not ideal. I expect they had to make a call preventing games from taking forever to complete.

Mark, bring the base to GenCon, would ya? I’d like to play it with you.

How old are your kids? I have a friend with a smart 11-year-old who likes chess and is looking for games to pick up at the Indiana game con (Origins?) before he flies back to Qatar.

Gen Con is the Indianapolis con, which starts in 16 days. Origins is in Columbus, Ohio, usually in June.

My kids are two boys, 11 years old (twins). It's hard to get them to play anything that isn't called Fortnite. They are literally IN SEAL Team Flix and I have yet to get them to try it.

Tabletop games they have liked: Fallout, Room 25, Cube Quest, Dungeon Fighter, Attack on Titan: The Last Stand.

Pete - sure thing.
