By now, you know we can do this, because Commands and Colors: Ancients by design is a unique historical game system that allows players to effectively portray stylized Ancient battles that play to a conclusion in less than an hour.
The third expansion to Commands and Colors: Ancients is Roman Civil War. Rome endured more than one civil war, though by far the most famous was the civil war fought between Julius Caesar, conqueror of Gaul, and Pompey, his former partner in the Triumvirate.
The third expansion allows you to replay the battles where the formidable Roman army divides and fights itself. Containing over 20 Battle Scenarios, this expansion also has new rules for fighting epic ancient battles on two connected battle map boards.
A combined reprint of Commands and Colors: Ancients Expansion Pack 2 (Rome and the Barbarians) and Expansion Pack 3 (The Roman Civil Wars), with all of the individual components (separate scenario books, etc.) of those products, but without the boards originally included with them. In order to play this expansion, you will need a copy of the basic Command and Colors Ancients game.
