This is one of my favorite Euros. I love the economic aspect of the game and how it controls the resources. Better implemented than the similar concept in Supremacy. I also love the artwork for the various powerplants. The math exercise isn't too bad. The marathon aspect is best. Manage when you're going to make your strike.

Fun Game

I've only played this one a couple times but it was fun. both times, played the Soviets and got spanked. Would like to play again sometime.

This is probably one of my favorite Navy games out there. It's not so meaty that it gets bogged down in the details like other Navy games but there's enough there that it feels like a Navy game. I used to have this one when I was younger but it was part of the games purge when I went to college (my mom "accidentally" threw them away). I managed to score a copy on Ebay a couple years ago and was surprised to find that it still plays well. Played the monster scenario a couple times. Never played the logistics rules though.

I also have the rest of the series 6th, 5th and 3rd Fleets. All are very good and seem to add more stuff to the basic game.

This is one of my favorites. It has enough randomness to be unpredictable yet there's enough strategy to overcome that. The end game feels about right. It doesn't feel rushed like the rest of the Euros. Interesting theme and screwage.

Fun Game...

This is a fun game but I think the end game leaves a little to be desired. I love to stomp the other armies and what not but....
