An Epic Battle Royale of Absurd Proportions.

For the last 8 billion years, the O.P. Arena has been floating at the center of the M82 galaxy providing a battleground for the most intense fights of all time. Players from across the multiverse send their champions in search of glory and riches, but only a handful make it out alive.

You've been training your Dudes since you were a child, and your time has finally come! Send your Dudes into the fight, and use their overpowered abilities to unleash hot death upon your opponents Dudes, and emerge victorious by obtaining 30 VPs!

That's right, VPs! Insane! And you will obtain those precious VPs by doing damage and killing (yes, killing) other Dudes. Crazy, right? You want crazy? (You know you do!) Buy this game and see for yourself how crazy it is!

O.P. Arena comes with 84 tarot-sized Dude cards, including Karate Sausage, Lactose Intolerant Unicorn, and Unhappy Cthulhu.

I would rather claw my eyeballs out.

Laser sharks, isn’t that joke about 20
years old now?

This sounds possibly great, or possibly like trying too hard nonsense with no real game to back up the "jokes". Have to wait and see I guess. I'm interested at least?

I think Zev is handling board games for WizKids now, so I figure anything he greenlights is worth at least taking a look at.

She's right, you know.

Not everything Zev greenlights is a classic, but everything he picks is at least worth looking at. He's got a great eye for fun.

Agreed.

Although looking through the cards, this is aimed squarely at the younger Fortnite type crowd who would still find a "Dad" card (where a paunchy middle-aged white guy clutches a beer in one hand and a cheeseburger in the other) to be the height of comedy.

I guess it's a card game huh. No spatial/board aspect is a bummer for me personally. Though Draco Magi from the same designer was pretty neat so who knows. It kinda sounds like a more 'tude version of Smash Up or something, which I'm probably pretty good on.
