GAME Z REVEALED AT LAST!!!

Michael Barnes has been carefully orchestrating a hype campaign for this game as part of his overall strategy to conquer the internet. If you don't believe me, then just wait until he names it Game Of The Year.

Step 1: Get an otherwise obscure game to bestseller status.
Step 3: Conquer the internet.

GAME Z is better than WORLD CUP SOCCER.

Sadly, GAME Z is not published yet otherwise it would be Game of the Year. WORLD CUP SOCCER isn't eligible because it's a 2006 game and for the Gameshark readership I'm going to elect something that's available in the US because I think that's important.

MAGICAL ATHELETE...if it weren't a 2006 game and were actually available anywhere outside of Japan, that would probably be Game of the Year.

It's going to be tough, actually...I haven't really played anything this year that has totally knocked my socks off...there's been a handful of really, really good games and lots of mediocre rubbish. Nothing completely great though.

My bro was in town for some business last week and we were talking games. He's been eyeballing The World Cup Game for a really long time. When I told him that Barnes said it was the best game he's played all year, I think it's pretty much tipped him over the edge. I haven't followed up with him yet to see if he's bought it.
