Diplomacy

Anybody play this on dipbounced.com/ ?

I'll host a game if anybody would like to play.

Yeah, I'm still up for it. I was thinking 48 hour turns. Do we have 6 others who want to play?

I'm assuming this is one of the sites where you need a copy of the game to play? *(Legit, that is...)

sadly I only have the (really f'ing cool, hard to find, out of print...) Colonial Diplomacy version. It's not so prone to the standard results/turns/formulaic play as the base game. (Which is not to knock the game, it's just there really are some things that just are sensible alliances...)

It's legit but the only thing you need from the game to play is the rules. The dipbounced.com site maps everything for you. I don't think do Colonial Diplomacy although they do offer a few variants but if you know how to play Colonial, you know how to play standard.

So, do you want in?

I maintain my own little Diplomacy interface: http://www.uni-koblenz.de/~muellsim/diplomacy/ . I could moderate a game for you. All you'd need to do is send me your orders once per day (or any other time you appoint).

Heh, that would require a different kind of diplomacy.

I'll have to check it out this weekend... sounds cool, but I hate being the person who flakes out, and I'm pretty overloaded with things at the moment... so i am a 'maybe' at the moment.
