Weekly Trash - Formula De

I had Formula De and then traded it before even playing it because I never could find anyone who (a) hadn't tried it but wanted to or (b) had tried and wanted to play again. I've played a couple times with the new Formula D, which isn't that much different than the original (based on rules reading, I mean), and it seems pretty decent fun if you can play it loose. Another guy and I at work played a lap over lunch with two cars apiece in a shade over an hour. I'm not 100% sure I have all the movement rules down (at least to apply them correctly), and there are some wonky things about when-zero-means-out-and-when-it-doesn't that I remember making my head hurt when reading the Formula De rules, but it's not all that bad in practice. The dashboards are pretty nice and a step up from the paper pads, but I've been working with Asmodee to get several replacements because my kids punched out the little circles for the markers in such haste that they tore the undersides on most of 'em. At least they liked the game. :)
