Boardgaming Backlog

I swear that I'm not one of those shopping fanatics from TOS, but I seem to have a backlog of boardgames that need more play. I enjoy all of these games, or at least look forward to trying them:

Arkham Horror (need to play more with the last two expansions mixed in)
Cosmic Encounter (just bought)
Battlestar Galactica (played once)
Android (just bought)
Pirate King (deserves more play, but our group is usually too big)
Humans!!! (needs more play, and I want to play it mixed in with the Zombies!!! game)
Prince of the City (have only played three times)
Dungeon Twister (have only played one game with more than two players)
Blood Feud in New York (played once)
Divine Right (played new edition once)

Part of the problem is that my group got obsessed with these games, which got too much play in recent years:

Arkham Horror (we played too much in the past and yet not enough lately)
Mall of Horror (every damn time we play boardgames)
Fury of Dracula (still a great game, but needs a rest)
Betrayal at House on the Hill (okay game, needs a rest)
Ca$h'n'Gun$ (point, laugh, allocate chits, repeat; I'm ready to sell this dog)

Mall of Horror is probably the worst offender. It's a great game, but I don't need to play it every month like my friends want. And maybe that's the key, I need to change up my play group from time to time, to introduce different players with different interests... as long as we stick to AmeriTrash.

It is funny but I never realized how close the gameplay of Ca$h n Gun$ was to my posting style on BGG.

Point, Laugh, allocate shit!

Yeah - I really don't have a game group right now so pretty much all of my gaming has been at the few cons I've made it to.

Games played once that need to be played again:
Starcraft
Descent

Games unplayed, sadly:
Prophesy
Roborally
Vegas Showdown

When I do game it's either something completely new to me that I've wanted to play (like at Euroquest), or it's something faster that people know like Ticket to Ride or Nexus Ops or Betrayal. Not bad, but I havent even read the Prophesy cards so they'll be NEW and EXCITING whenever it is that I get to play...
