I was just coming back to post that, having looked at it closer!

edit- I found a bunch of duck tokens and boards labeled Ducky Intrigue. No idea what that is but I'll look into it.

The box is opened, and right from the start it's pretty obvious that I'm not going to be a "secret winner" here. It's all downhill.
Not safe for "work," vagina.
I don't want to know what that is on the right side of the picture. This isn't a subtle hint for Satan to tell me; I genuinely don't want to know. I put on gloves to bin it. I can assume this signature and inscription are original, because my name's not Shawn.
Satan knows I've had a copy of Kill Doctor Lucky for years that I haven't bothered to throw away, so in case I ever consider it - here's another one. Also present is "Safari Jack," another Cheapass joint that I am unfamiliar with, and Aapep, which I have seen before at Unity Games. It's an abstract. There is a snake on the cover that is probably more exciting than anything inside. Onward.
Illuminati Deluxe is a game I've thrifted before (like new, with the Y2K expansion, and in a smaller box). This copy is clearly well loved, and is in a fuckoff huge box for the amount of components inside. I checked: it's actually Illuminati in there. God damn it. To the side are two copies of Dungeoneer, the "Den of the Wererats" and the "Haunted Woods." I don't know anything about these, so there should be some interesting reading ahead. Also present: a bag of tokens and some dice, but after the picture on top I'm not sure their handling is advisable.
Fantasy Flight published two Beowulf Knizias. This is one of them. It's the one I haven't played yet, a re-implementation of Knizia's Auf Heller und Pfennig, which is German for "Go to Hell for Pennies." It's a Knizia, so at worst it's aggressively mediocre and mathematically sound. I look forward to giving it a whirl.
See you next year.

Dungeoneer isn't bad, we used to play that at AGF. We had a full set of all the expansions floating around the store.
Apep...now THAT looks dreadful.

In case you were wondering, the guitar pick is from a Five Finger Death Punch show right after they were signed. They didn't even have their own pics yet.
Your welcome.
