Old school TSR box sets, rpgs, etc. but the main items of interest for me were the GW items: Warmaster, Talisman 3rd, Dragon Masters, and original WHQ. WHQ was only missing one plastic rat but had extra treasure cards - $100.

I passed.

O man, that would have been great for me. I would have went to town.

Call them. Their prices were great and they wanted to move this stuff before going to ebay.

Tons of old TSR and GW stuff.

I will never pay another dollar to Cthulhu Wars.

It's a really great game but for the 127$ in expansions I bought over Onslaught 2, which I won't see for MONTHS, I could've bought 5 new games.

I'm officially in the Fuck Expansions crowd now. EA Battlefront's plan of delivering 1/2 a game and forcing me to spend 50$ more (100$ game total) to get the expansion packs that should've shipped with it to begin with has me SAAAALTY

If it's any consolation, I think the first Kickstarter expansion factions are pretty damn interesting and fun.

Nothing to do with cult of the new. I honestly couldn't tell you what any newly released games are. I completed my collection years ago and have only been buying the occasional game just to play around with it if its talked up here. I barely play games anymore though and when I do its usually the favorites I already own. At the current rate of play those will last me many years before I get sick of them. So basically just no point in buying anything new. Would just be buying shelf toads.

I've come to believe that there are two kinds of folks: collectors and players. If you're a player you can play the same 30 games 1,000 times and still like them whereas a collector will play a game once to "experience" it and then move on.

Nothing wrong with either; I think I'm much more a player than a collector but sometimes I just have to get something to try it out.

Current toads which will probably see no play:
A Touch of Evil
Cthulhu Wars (despite my desire!)
Livingstone (which I wanted for years and have yet to play, despite owning it for maybe 6 months)
The Village (despite loving it, nobody ever wants to play)

I'm dumping some games that were attempts to find something to play with my son, but we don't like playing games together that much. It's more productive to work in the shed on his DDR pad project. He's grateful, and we get to hang out a bit.

Is that a Dance Dance Revolution project? What is it?

Sorry to hear that you and your son don't enjoy playing games, but at least y'all have found other ways to connect. Enjoy his time in the house!
