What gaming are you planning for the Thanksgiving Holiday?
I just finished painting (albeit poorly) the Wiz-War board game miniatures so my family and a few friends are planning a Wiz-War Battle Royale on Thanksgiving Day! It should be fun.
Thanks to files posted at BGG, I made my own Wiz-War set ten years ago. Because I am crazy for big games, I scaled my set up for 12 players. The biggest game that I ever played with that set was six players, and that took nearly 3 hours to play, though part of that was because five players were new to the game.
How many will be in your game? Did you need to buy an extra copy of the base game? Or does the base plus expansions cover your players?
We'll only have five players so the Wiz-War base and Malefic Curses expansion cover up to five players. This will be the first time we've played with the Bestial Forces expansion--it's ashame, however, that FFG didn't include a board and a wizard miniature in that expansion for a sixth player.
I got home for the thanksgiving week which I have off and one of the first things I thought was "man, I'm in a place where I could play boardgames for like 8 hours every day this week." So I like the way you think.

3 hours of a single Wiz-War game sounds like too much Wiz-War.
I have no gaming plans for Thanksgiving, but I am planning a small December get-together to play some games that don't normally see the table. Cosmic Encounter is among them.
Once again, I'm off to a beach house for the week of Thanksgiving. Five couples, booze, board games... If its like anything in the past, we'll be playing the SHIT out of Wiz-War. Can't wait.
For larger count games, we'll have Secret Hitler and Captain Sonar. I use to bring Cosmic Encounter, but for some reason - a few people just can't get into it. I'm leaving it behind this year.
I just bought a copy of the latest edition for $25. I think this is the third time I've purchased it. I wish F:AT would just shut up about it already, I have no willpower.

We do Thanksgiving on my inlaws farm. So we will be replacing a fuel pump in my Ford C8000.
I will be taking Wizwar, Ogre, Twixt, Catacombs, and some Wings of Glory planes, in the hopes we play something that is not SkipBo or Phase10 in the evening.
