While hunting for any news about a certain flicking game, who I won’t name but whose initials are SEAL Team Flix, I saw Zev talking about this.

This looks really cool. I like puzzle games like Exit! and Unlock, so this really looks like the Grand Unifying Theory of puzzle games - one that acts like Exit! but that isn’t a one and done.

ExPLORE!

I have it but one of the main components (a multilayered wheel) arrived broken and I'm waiting for a new one.

It looks neat, but one thing I worry about is that it will lack color and story, perhaps coming across as a more bland but replayable version of Exit.

I haven't played it. I did briefly meet the designer since he did the BGG Origins interview right after I did. Nice guy.

That is exactly my worry about it. I eagerly await your thoughts/review once you have a chance to play it.

I was kind of thinking that it will have a good setting but probably not much of a narrative, which is what makes puzzle games shine. Ideally, the "module based" system will allow for some variance so you can get five or six games out of each. I'm guessing they may do a TIME Stories model where new modules come out at various points to expand the game to new settings, or if not settings, then different scenarios within the same setting.

I've got one. The design is such that the 6 puzzles have pieces with one player and the cryptic solution directions with another player. Try to solve X puzzles in time for X players. Zero story, but some interesting puzzle types---which ARE replayable.
