Looking for Feedback: SEAL Team Flix

Hey, we’re looking for some feedback from y’all.

1. Chime in if you have STF.

2. What is your favorite map and why?

3. What is your favorite specialty and why?

4. What is your favorite mini game, and why?

5. How much does the narrative aspect of the game affect your enjoyment? Does the story matter? If so, how much?

6. Regarding minigames, what is most important to you:
- Difficulty of mastery (challenge)
- Brevity
- Incidence rate (how often you have to play them)
- Other?


As some of you know, we’re working on the expansion. We have some really cool shit going into this next expansion, looks like (currently) 4 new maps on 3 boards (one is double sided), 2-4 new specialties, new destroyable terrain types, new enemy types that don’t require new rules to function, and 4-6 new mini games.

Favorite Map
Train station. The long straightaways and odd angles are different than many of the other maps, and I love attempting to snipe.

Favorite Specialty
I tend to go for the sniper ones, as I love the sideboards and sniping is the only sideboard you can pursue from your own agency. Getting an extra flick is huge.

Favorite Mini Game
Time bomb. It's so dramatic and the sandtimer puts a great deal of pressure.


New mini games and destroyable terrain are what I'm most excited about.

Unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time for gaming lately, and I don't like solo play much.

I will say that for the expansion, I hope you do a combo of offend-everyone enemies: radical jihadists, and sovereign-citizen militia types.

I also hope the expansion is named "Seal Team Flix Unlimited/Ultimate" so I can call it the STFU expansion.

You'll be disappointed on all fronts.

I haven't played it yet, but the new faction should be doomsday preppin' science teachers hellbent on teaching evolution, abortion, and quantum physics.* You can add a rewind feature that assumes you go into an alternate timeline/universe.

*Also they have guns to protect themselves from active school shooters.

Instead of quantum physics, they should teach Einsteinian physics -- I've encountered multiple people who have denounced Einstein on the grounds that he taught moral relativism.

Haven't played this, but you could add pirates if they aren't there already. IIRC, it was SEAL's that sniped those Somali pirates from boat to boat. Had to be head shots and simultaneous too.

How about a Kiwi SAS squad as a small card expansion, they did pretty good in Kabul.

Also, for something selling so well that has been so widely praised as really fun and really different, it's sad that only one F:ATtie has been playing it enough to opine.
