Beat mission 1 w/both alive on easy, but just because of lucky rolls mostly. Took lots of shots. Game is very strategic, my first thought is that successful play is all about setting traps using your knowledge of the AI. That hallway probably had 4-5 bodies in it.

I just came in equipped for loud, which was a lot of fun. Full auto rifles with 3 green shots are fun. Then you roll a million dice and new patrols pour onto the map, but that's fun too.

I feel like with 3+ an interesting strategy might be bring one stealth operator to creep to some of the objectives and have the other yahoos open up with everything, in armor, etc and keep alert token on themselves.

It is... I regret throwing people into that one as their second mission. That said, a solid plan and a great ricochet grenade in the opening salvo can make it much more tolerable.

There are some new tools coming in the expansion that make the hotel lobby a much more survivable place.

I got lucky so I got through it. Rolled the two of the first three shots as blanks. And I missed that the sentry off to the right sees you and would react as well, so I cheated too. Still fun. The game is pretty durable to fuck ups, which I like.

People talk about the sideboards, which I do like, but I can't believe how creative you guys got with the different weapons and how they play. That is really top stuff. The way the flashbang worked in this one was like perfect. Hit those two guys behind cover with it, then double moved my character behind to get behind their cover for the next turn (again, cheating since I didn't realize that other sentry should be shooting at me the whole time).

I ruled that I could stay and look for the secondary objective once I had hustled the hostage out in turn 2.

What sort of pawns do you use? I prefer standups for this game to minis tbh, I think it's a big + the game doesn't have minis. But I could see a place for pawns.
