Anybody ever play this? Know anybody who's played it? Is it worth the outrageous prices?

I ordered it based on a rec from a friend. You'll get to try it with me if you can wait until March.

I loved it for a period of time and then became annoyed with the repetition.

I wrote about it last year: playerelimination.com/2018/03/26/the-cur...f-the-7th-continent/

There's a guy on Reddit looking at a copy for $210, asking if it's worth it.

I played it a few times, I don’t think I really had a play that gave me much reason to come back to it. It’s boring and repetitive.

I hedged my bets and wen't mostly all-in on the second KS because it was basically now or never (they were implying they may never print it again). Figured, worst case I'd sell it unopened it and not lose any money. Honestly, leaning in that direction right now...

I've looked at it a couple of times but just couldn't quite pull the trigger on it at the price it commands, it sounds wonderful but being solely adventure/exploration/mystery (from what I could see) it just didn't grab me enough. But then I went and jumped into the Tainted Grail KS which uses a similar tile exploration mechanic, but it also had an adventuring party and massive story and combat and a very nice price.
With 7th Continent you seem to be paying a premium for the experience and the beauty the game provides. Though from reading reviews/comments I think you need to get the extra curses (that doubles the stories/adventures) to get the replayability for the price shelled out.
