The TTS version has been updated with the option to add the new stuff in, which also means it's available to be seen. This is from the BGG forums (it may make it into Vassal as well)

Seems like a number of pre-expansion cards got Apostasy (super-strife) added, which may be slightly countered by an increase in Religious one-shots and the extra theocracy state.

The "new" cards seem to strengthen some underused areas (especially Mamluk, which was usually a backwater), and there's a lot of count "X as Y for wins" effects.

I still haven't decided if I'm in for it either, but that's at least what we're looking at for changes.

With the rumors there isn't any additional help to states and localities in the next federal coronavirus bill compromise, my recent pastime is stressing about being furloughed so I strongly doubt I'll do it now.

Resisting buying any of Tank Duel expansions. There is a tank pack coming out and another expansion too but not sure I love the base game enough to buy more content. But the P 500 pricing is tempting me.

Yeh I am nervous about that bit—not the principle of giving him money, but the possibility of not getting what I gave him the money for. But Ima risk it. The game looks fun, 2e even better than 1e. Ima hold my nose & back the KS.

The standalone mini Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion launched at Target today, and I'm currently resisting. We'll see...

You might have no choice but to resist for a while. Target sold through them in a flash. I got on last night about 1am to see if the online orders for pickup were on yet and I got the last one at my local store. Picking it up in the morning.

Yea, there's a few stores around me that have them this morning. Hence the resistance! It looks like the version of Gloomhaven that I personally want, but also I probably wouldn't play it soon enough to bother running out and buying it this morning yknow.

I have digital Gloomhaven and completely forget it exists, so I think I can resist this one too.

Well i ordered one to pick up after work tomorrow, we'll see if they actually had the 1 in stock that it said they had. My wife expressed interest, so I stopped resisting.

Thinking about grabbing Jaws. To those who gushed about it when it came out... how are you feeling about it now?

Outside of Marvel Champions packs I haven't been buying anything lately, but I have been feeling the urge to buy Roads & Boats of late. It's pretty easy to resist since msrp on it is like $120 if you can even find a copy. Probably going to relegate this one to the "Want In Trade" list in the end, but ye it's the only thing that I've had to resist recently.

With 3 hours remaining on the campaign, I canceled my Nova Aetnas pledge. It looks cool, but was bound to be a toad.

Done exactly the same thing but it's the cost for me. I have so many large Kickstarters arriving in the next 12 months with a few doing what this does, plus I also have Sine Tempore (the same game, basically, in space), so I just couldn't justify the massive layout for it.

I walked into one of the German supermarkets in the UK, well known for having anything on special in the middle aisles, and they had sets of pliers (I hope that's what you yanks call them), five different types in two different sets - that is TEN DIFFERENT types of pliers - at a very good price.
I am an ex-electrical engineer guy and love tools :pinch: .

I RESISTED !

(although I am thinking of buying a selection of tools, including both these sets, for my lad's birthday present to give him a decent toolbox ... and some of the longnose pliers may migrate to my toolbox  )
