Good ruleset for tactical minis on a 1" grid?

I just found a cheap bundle with 3 sets of terrain for the Halo Interactive Strategy Game. It looked like a quick, easy way to throw down some battlefields. Any good mini games or rules that could use such simple terrain and grid?

Thanks,
Ben

I play Frostgrave on a grid of 1" squares. It's not perfect as you can still move 1/2" or even 1/4" sometimes but it works well enough for us and we don't have to measure every move.

Would also be great for RPGs. Man, I wish I had some. If you ever want to get rid of them, let me know!

I use the halo stuff for Epic Duels. I think that was a Superfly suggestion

It is pretty basic. The walls/obstructions are too few and big to model interiors for something like Space Hulk unfortunately.

My daughter and I should cobble together some rules for a game of My Little Pony: Kill Team: Friendship is Futile.

Song Of Blades & Heroes can be played on a 1" grid. All you do is convert the Small/Medium/Long ranges to 3/5/7 squares (with the first diagonal square costing 1, and every further diagonal square costing 2) and then you can use any square gridded map. I especially like using Pathfinder maps and D&D tiles.

You can try one of the LEGO rulesets like brikwars or minifigs. They inches based and versatile. We’ve had a ton of fun with them over the years.
