Due to my plans for any sort of in person gaming being totally trashed over the last weekend I have finally embarked on investigating how to stream a little. Since this is a new venture for me I would love to hear some feedback on early attempts. I am still learning OBS so you can expect the streams to look better as time goes on but you can find our first board game one here:
I've only played the tutorial of TTS, but I'm definitely interested in playing some games to get a handle on TTS. Not too concerned about the specific game while trying to learn the format.
I’m running a lite RPG called InSpectres (aka, the best Ghostbusters game you’ll ever play) for my regular Monday F2F group tomorrow night over Discord. Assuming all goes well, I’d be willing to more for the TWBG crowd, be it more InSpectres, Tales From the Loop, or any of the other lighter indie RPGs I’ve been waiting to dig into.

I'm killing two birds with one stone. The other day on Twitter people were talking about grunge music in the early 90s and that brought me back to my days of skipping out of work at lunch to go buy Magic cards (or playing Magic at lunch). I haven't touched a Magic card in over a decade, but I found myself missing that game.
So now, with no f2f gaming in sight, I downloaded MtG Arena, which is like Hearthstone, but for Magic. I'm having a blast. I'm daveexmachina on there if anyone else plays, but I'm a total newb, getting a feel for it again.
I played a game of Root on TTS the other night. Went pretty smoothly. Though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the field of view. I could not see everything at a glance, and had to pan around and zoom in and out every time I wanted to look at someone’s faction board. There must be some custom camera control settings that I don’t know about to make things easier to parse. Maybe I can find someone who streamed a game and watch what they do to pick up some tips.
There’s games going on all the time on the Root Discord so hopefully I’ll get some more experience in.
Last night our weekly D&D group switched to Roll20. We've been playing the Dragon Heist storyline, and I had missed for a couple weeks, so it was nice to get back into that.
Thinking of running an Old School Essentials game on Roll20 at some point. Watch this space...
Who's used TT - do games play easily on it, do they go too slow if people don't get the hang of the interface, how do you communicates with each other (any voice comms with it) ?
Had a look at it on Steam and there seems to be a decent set of games for it, quite a few top euros but I saw Xia and Zombicide there with great reviews as well as Cosmic Encounter.
