Printable solo roleplaying game

A few years ago, someone mentioned a roleplaying game where you went around and fought monsters on a map. The map was a single piece of paper with grids on it and if I recall the monster did not move and you choose which to fight in what order. I think you used a 6 sided dice... the monsters all had stats that changed. Maybe?

I printed off a bunch to give away at my prison library and I would like to do this again in preparation for corvid-19 lockdowns. I know I did not explain it well, so any recommendations of free printable (2 or 3 sheets max) games / puzzles would awesome.

Four Against Darkness. It’s a big print, but I think it would suit your purposes. There are also some other options- Doom World is a one pager roll and write RPG that’s pretty cool. There is also Ironsworn, which is more complex (based on PBTA). Disciples of Bone and Shadow is probably the best of the lot though.

Oh wait I misread your ask there...I think it is Doom World you are thinking about.

The Utopia Engine is not exactly a RPG but nonetheless a free one-player dice game.
