The way the character cards are used for Health, Movement , and Combat is so clever and just works so well in that game.
MEQ is on the list, 6th from the top.

But BSG definitely gave me the most hours of fun. I don't think I need to ever play it again, but it was a game-changer for my engagement with board games.
Middle Earth Quest was a near miss for me, but even then it was a fascinating miss. Others like Starcraft and Runewars were compelling even though I only got to try them once.

I thought the update to Warrior Knights was really well done, although I don't know which parts were his. I also really liked the "cards as life" mechanic in MEQ, but it felt like the game demanded so much from players as Tolkien fans that it was just too difficult to rope in anyone from my crowd. BSG somehow never hit it for us.
So, yeah, I'm interested in his work, but this latest offering is way outside of what I'm currently looking for in a game, so I think I'll wait for the next one.
