Rainbow Six Siege gets a board game was created by hotseatgames
My inspiration for pretty much the entirety of SEAL Team Flix was Rainbow Six. In fact, when Pete first suggested we change from standard dice combat to flicking (the best decision of the entire development, which changed the course of the end result), I said to him "Rainbow Flix"! And he came back with SEAL Team Flix, and that of course stuck.
Mythic is making it. As Charlie mentions below, they don't have the greatest reputation. No details are available at all, but you can see the tiniest shred of it at the VERY end of this video:
I find myself teetering between hoping it's good and jealousy that I'm not making it.

Siege is very different than traditional R6, right? When I briefly looked into it was much more cartoony and leaning a shade towards Fortnite.
Also, Mythic has a poor track record.

Siege is nothing like Fortnight. It is very different than prior R6 games, though. It's basically attackers vs. defenders with each character being a unique "hero" with weapons and skills.
Terrorist Hunt is still in Siege, but it is not the focus of the game, sadly.

Oh yes. Since they now have named operators with personalities, you get things like that.
It's not the R6 I cut my teeth on, but hey, that was when games just got proper expansions, not DLC.

I wonder how they will model the destructability of terrain. R6Ss big claim to fame is popping holes in walls to snipe noobs from across the map
Although i think this game has evolved extensively from when i played it.
This is probably some slapped on IP for a run and gun modern dungeon crawl (underserved market??) but maybe not.
