Speaking of Giveaways

This site has been a gift and I have enjoyed my time here immensely. I am a piece of human garbage for not contributing. But there is going to come a day when the site breaks, and for perfectly valid reasons, it won't be resurrected. So before that happens (and before I break), I wanted to thank everyone for all the writing, humor, insights and fun you have generated over the last 17 years. In some ways I have used this site as a journal, kvetching about life or bemoaning my relationship or lack thereof with my kids. The cancer cells they biopsied two years ago appear to be latent, so I'll be around for a while, but I just wanted to say thanks while the site and I are both creaking along but still conscious.

I think your contributions are pretty good and I enjoy them. Thanks for being a fun internet acquaintance.
