Quest for the Dragonlords: crystal of power.

I have QftDL 2nd ed. Never played.
Crystal of power is half price at the store down the road.

Should I purchase?

No love for CoP?

I'm surprised Robert hasn't popped in on this one.

I'd just like to have a copy of QoD 2.0.

Hey Frank, CoP has sort of been off and on my wish list, but everywhere I see it online it's more expensive than I want to pay for it.

I think that the only thing you need to know is that CoP was printed under 1st Edtion, I'm not sure if there was a CoP 2nd Edition (I could be totally wrong). If it's 1st edition, they swapped the color of the elves and the orcs for 2nd edition...in 1st edition, the elves are actually red, which is definitely weird.

CoP looks like it adds a LOT of cool stuff, though.

I say go for it...it adds some cool stuff to it, and it does work with 2nd edition. There were no expansions for 2nd edtion so the Amazons and Necromancers get screwed.

If you like Dragonlords then definitely go for the expansion. You'll have to paste up the player reference cards for the Necromancers and the Amazons. You can download the pasteups on that other game site. Just print them out and glue them on to your reference cards.
