Bloodbowl was created by Mr Skeletor
I have been going to the game store everyday for the last two weeks, waiting for Days of the Fox to arrive. It has been a no show.
The store did however get in copies of Bloodbowl.

Do I reallocated DotF funding to BB or hold out?

Well... I know from my days of BB tourneys that there is a pretty happenning scene in Australia for Bloodbowl. My suggestion is to check out if you have any local leagues that would let you join. If so, buy the game and have a blast. If not hold out for DotF.

Nice game, especially in league modus. Just watch out for the guys, who don't play you, if your pieces aren't painted. And consider that you have to buy another team (Undead or Dark Elves would be my guess), if you don't want to be stuck with Orcs or Humans.

I think the fans of the game swear by the Living Rulebook.

I just saw Days of the Fox this week at Hobby Town. It should reach you guys pretty soon, Frank.

LRB 5.0 is what the majority of players are using now.

A couple of guys at my club have started up a league recently. I think they use LRB. I understand it is different from fumbbl rules.

You don't even have to play the game on FumBBL. You can just download the Blood Bowl Program, and then you need .html files of your teams. You can create those through an account on FumBBL, you just have to use their application for creating teams, then go to "View Roster" and save that site as a .html (not .htm or anything else) into the Teams folder of your Blood Bowl Program. Then you can start the game locally with two of your self creared teams (or default ones) and play against your buddy infront of the puter.

The program otherwise is so simple that you can use it by reading the game manual alone.

If you want to play online you also have to create a team (and account) on FumBBL. For beginners the "Academy" division is recommended, although "LRB 5" is the only one which uses the 5.0 rules (and is just being tested). After you finished creation, just click (Play) next to your team. You need to give someone else the name of the game you created, or login to a game someone else created.

I usually don't play this online anymore, but I unexpectedly have time on the weekend so I could give it another try. I should still know the rules. I live in Europe though.

FumBBL uses LRB 4.0 rules, which are different from 5.0 but nothing major. They run a test division for 5.0 rules though.
