Definitive Mad Max game?

What's even more disappointing to me is that there're practically no video games trying to capture the Mad Max-style vehicular combat either.
I remember a PSP game Pursuit Force, in which you jumped from one vehicle to another, exchanging shots with the drivers, it was kind of like the chase sequence in Matrix Reloaded. Although there were a lot of QTEs and not enough freedom of movement, PF and in particular its sequel did capture the sense of velocity and recklessness. And besides that - again, a PSP game - there's basically nothing worth mentioning (I think). Of course making a game about driving, jumping from car to car, fighting and shooting from non-static positions is not easy and does not adjust to the 4-5 game design templates that produce 90% of AAA titles these days.
