I got a case of dreamblade figures for cheap and am very impressed.
Of course, getting a case meant I got all of the commons, nearly all of the uncommons but only some of the rares.
I wouldn't mind collecting the ones I'm missing, but I can't be arsed buying more cheap cases and getting flooded with commons (only so much room in the house!) so is there a good place to get individual figures short of ebay? Or are people still asking for retarded prices for some of these figures?

It's a great game that I never get to play any more. I think it's the best CMG ever published and in time people are going to regret missing out on it. Be sure you get the 4 player rules off the WotC site if they're still up there.

I don't know about the prices any more, last time I checked I sold a Scarab Warcharm for like $80 on Ebay. With tournament play gone, the prices should be a lot lower these days. You do want a lot of rares, they're fun. And the sets after the first one add a lot to the game.

I went through and completed my set via eBay around wintertime so that I could generate fake sealed decks to play forever, and Scarab Warcharm was "only" around $10-$15 then (and along with Unsated Ragedrake was the only piece that cost over $10). I haven't looked recently, but certainly the less tournament-worthy rares should be pretty dang cheap (and just as fun). And I disagree with the people who only want to play CCGs with commons; it's not that rares are more POWERFUL, it's that rares are usually wackier and more fun.

Where could I expect to find a decent playset and how much could I expect to pay? This has always piqued my interest but I haven't taken the plunge yet...I'd need to get a couple of my lunchtime Magic group interested in joining me.
