Mwahahaha! Anybody played it?

It's a card game about being a super villian trying to take over the world. White Wolf makes it. Looks like it's dripping with ameritrash theme. It's a resource management game which could be awesome or could mean it's a lame euro in ameritrash disguise. So which is it? Anybody around here played it and have some thoughts to share?

I've seen it, but not played it, and I have skimmed over the rules. It looks great; the box is pretty heavy for a card game. There's a lot of cards from the look of it (for super villans, doomsday devices, minions, dirty trick cards, resources, empire cards, and cool dice!)

Seriously, the dice are cool:

I love the theme and idea. Now I just have to try it to see how I like it.

I was interested in Mwahahaha!, but concerned that White Wolf doesn't have enough experience doing boardgames yet. From what I've read about the game at BGG and White Wolf.com, it seems that Mwahahaha! is loaded with theme, but the game has a tendency to stall out towards the end, leading to a tedious endgame. I will probably still get it eventually, just because I love the theme.

I've also read that the endgame can stall when all the resources run out. I haven't played it, but if that turns out to be a problem, I hope it can be fixed with some house rules (like, adding more resources or something).

A friend of mine has it. I missed my train the night they played it so I haven't had a go with it. My impression was that they thought it had a great theme but was a mediocre game.

That's too bad. I've seen it at the local game group they have here, so I hope I'll get to play it sometime to see what it's like.
