The remake of the WE THE PEOPLE has racked up an impressive 283 preorders (one of those being mine) in about a day and a half since being posted.

Browse through the discussion on CSW that has some (hopefully) preliminary art samples. Pretty awful stuff right now, heavily laden with pastels for some reason.

Note that battle cards have gone away in this version. Combat is resolved through a fairly easy die roll process. But for the most part it sounds like it'll be pretty faithful to the original version of the game. I'm not wild about the name, but it'll be great to see this in wider circulation again.

Mark's goal was actually to make this shorter and faster than the original version.

Well at least "Washington's War" fits the subject. "We the People" is from the constitution- well after the war.

I'll probably preorder this soon.

I will certainly pre order this one.

good to see it being made after hearing about it a few year ago I thought it fell off the table.

It will have a mounted board.

There's a call for playtesters up for this one on both CSW and BGG.

I'll keep an eye on it for sure but I don't think I'll put a pre-order in. I've yet to play WtP and I'd like to give that a shot first.
