OCS Korea is nice. I was hoping they'd put the GCACW reprint on sale. I need to get a copy of that.

If I make it to Winter Offensive I may be able to pick it up at 25% off. You could grab it from me at the beach in May for no shipping charge.

Dudes, if we set up a GCACW game for the beach I am there. I love those games...well the one I own anyway (Battle above the clouds) but I assume the others are similarly awesome.

I have always been tempted by OCS Korea but the reality of not actually playing it has pushed it off my buying list.
Wasn't someone talking up No Question of Surrender somewhere?

If Gary's there you two can reserve your own table for the entire weekend. Plenty of Civil War to go the distance.

GCACW is a completely different experience campaign. I tried it once. We didn't get super far but a lot of shit in the scenarios doesn't make any sense until you play the game campaign. If anything, I think that GCACW can be a little unrealistic because there simply is not a big enough incentive to do battle, which you absolutely do not get in the scenarios as hard. On the other hand, that unrealistic stuff actually encourages you to do a *ton* of maneuvering like a civil war general, so I guess design for effect?

No Question of Surrender is ok. It's a good introduction to the GTS system. It's one map and manageable. The problem I had was that the French Player doesn't have a whole lot of interesting decisions. Some slight shuffling of units for defense but that's about it. The German attack is far more challenging. I'm almost tempted to call it better solo.
