Hey all -
Just posted the rules for The Fog of War over on BGG. This is a two hour, two-player game of the European Theater of World War II, focusing on the planning and intelligence aspects of the war.
The Fog of War Rules
The game is finally at the printer, and will be released in Essen, and widely available a few weeks later (early November, most likely).

Which are you more proud of Geoff, Dragon and Flagon or Fog of War?

Seriously? You're killing me, man.
Although I guess it's pretty clear for me in this case - The Fog of War would have to get the nod. I've been working on it (not full time, but on and off) for twelve years. And whereas Dragon & Flagon does a great job (IMO) of streamlining programmed movement, TFOW is something completely and totally different than any game on the market. I had to invent so much new stuff for this game, which is why it took so long.

I'm really glad to see so many new games coming out that list their time as 2 hours. For the longest time, if you wanted to show a 2 hour game to a publisher, they would say "nothing longer than 90 minutes." It really sucked. My group likes longer games.
