1066, Tears To Many Mothers
is a 2 player historical card game, that they say plays well solitaire.
On the BGG page under Awards & Honors, it shows it was nominated for many awards including Origins Best Historical Board Game.
Has anyone played this, or heard any good things about it?
Or would anyone have any other 2 player historical card games that they could recommend?
Art looks awesome on this. And the ability to play solo is bonus.

It looks interesting, but I'll apply standard combat-themed-game excuse #1 for this title for why I haven't purchased.

I did. I would broadly recommend it altho it can be capricious at times. It's still in my collection after the regular purges started and I intend to keep it that way. AMA.
In terms of historical card games, Undaunted: Normandy is pretty awesome although it does have a small modular board.
