Five Points? Tammany Hall?
boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/93540/five-points-gangs-of-new-york
It seems to be compared to Tammany Hall...another game I've not heard of.
I'm all into the theme of these games. Anyone play Tammany Hall? What's the word on it? How about this new Five Points game?
Are these games rough or a bunch of jackrolling dandies?

The cover to Five Points looks cooler than Tammany Hall, but I just watched an unpacking video on Five Points and I gotta say I like the look of the Tammany Hall game much better. Tammany Hall actually looks to have more flavor to it with the rustic map, the immigrant flags, etc.
How well does Tammany Hall scale?
I'm buying one of these games and so far leaning towards Tammany Hall. Damn, guess I need to wait for some Five Points reviews first though...

It plays just as good at 3 players as it does with 4 or 5, and it is fast and brutal. You can easily knock out several games in an evening. It's also easy to pick up and learn since you don't have too many actions to do each turn.
Bonus points if you actually slander your buddy when you play a slander action against him.

Shame about that movie...one of the greatest fumbles in all of cinema, apart from Butcher Bill.

Yeah, I just watched his Five Points video....well the first few minutes. When I saw the board setup I was pretty much done. No way does it compare to the map in Tammany Hall. I'm also really digging the old time political cartoon look of the cards in Tammany. I'm really starting to feel like there's no comparison here.
