Bear in mind that the ONE good review of Stone Age, cited above, is not from an actual game reviewer but a self-described "Culture Vulture" or some such nonsense. I believe that this particular user's "pimp" avatar and allusions to "Superfly" should give you some insight as to this miscreant's moral stature and ability to discern good from evil.

There is a reason why when we say "bomb X back to the Stone Age" where X is one of the bad guy nations. It's because it is BAD and UNDESIRABLE to go to the Stone Age. It stands to follow that it is also BAD and UNDESIRABLE to play this game.

I have some documents on hand that I unfortunately can not share that seem to suggest that the one person who has been trumpeting the supposed awesomeness of Stone Age in these parts is actually an Al Qaeda plant trying to undermine what we have been trying to do here at F:AT for a number of years.

Back on subject, Stone Age is a lovely family game that has some dice rolling in it. The iconography is terrible and it could use a soul injection, but it's kind of fun and a good way to introduce the facts-of-life conversation to your adolescent children.

It's not bad. I'd rather play Kingsburg.
