Designer Christophe Boelinger has announced a smallish expansion for Archipelgo.

Cool, I had seen him mention this before, glad to see it's really happening.

Archipelago is such an interesting game, I'm still not sure if it's a masterpiece or an elaborate parody.

Holy fucking shit. I just read the rules on this game and it blew my mind. Every single part of it is connected to all of the others through the market mechanism and all vs. the game element. I have no idea if it's going to hit the table but I kind of love that I own it. It's fucking BONKERS.

It's the type of game that I would love to get going at a con with gamer types, it is brutal if you don't read the rules.

There's a solo expansion you can get that contains various scenarios. Michael tried it and said it was overly difficult (our maybe he said impossible).
