Blatantly stolen from Boardgamenews.com:

The game is billed as a horse racing game with a twist – and that it is. The goal of this race is to come in last. There is also bluffing involved, as each player is dealt a horse card secretly at the beginning of the game.

I rarely use internet-speak...but...
WTF?!?!

Haha, so you'd have to taunt and talk shit to someone about how you're losing to them? No thanks.

Caption contest:

Gudrun, Heiner and Roland break out laughing over an illogical rule, otherwise the game was strategically rather elegant.

Sounds like standard "manipulation of ambiguity" to me...

Winner!

Wait, this would be better in faux German.

Achtung!

So this game is about race fixing???

Surely this is the greatest idea for a horse racing game ever!

The theme for that game is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard of. It's worse than the penguins going after fish game.

What's next, a game where you want to make the king angry?

First person beheaded wins!

The rulebook is excerpted below.

Game end and winner:

By winning the race, you cause hurt and embarrassment for those who did not win. This is selfish and unfair. The winner of the race must pay reparations to the others and strive to better represent the values of community and altruism in the future. Those who did not win the race rejoice together in the perfect equality of mankind.

This game was manufactured in China. Injection-molded parts may or may not contain plastic derived from petroleum that originated in Sudan.

So, 30 years after Mad came out, the concept has finally reached my side of the ocean?
It would be nice if you could bet on the race result...

First they had no player elimination. That wasn't enough. Then they had scoring where the leader wasn't usually too far ahead of the losers. NOw this....What's next, a circle jerk where everyone wins?
