Combat Commander Europe for around $32. You will probably never see this game this cheap ever again. If you have any desire, you should jump on it.

Blue Max for $20. A great and underrated Bi plane dog fight game.

Anyone get anything good on Prime Day?



No? Didn't think so.

A buddy of mine's a Prime client. So you get your stuff a whole day earlier, big deal. I don't see the need.

The thing with Prime is the shipping. I have little things in my shopping cart all the time that don't total to $35, and they sit there until I get enough totaled up. Not a big deal, but I hate paying $8 on a $10 order so I wait. My wife got Prime and she'll just punch an item off the list without thinking. Fish Tank filters . . . done. Pool Part . . . done. She's ordered three times in one day.

We live close to one of their big hubs so my shipments are generally as quick as hers. But the convenience of send-and-forget is valuable, would be even more valuable in a two-worker family. Throw in an Echo in the kitchen ("Amazon, send me another set of toner cartridges like the ones I bought last month") and you don't even have to stop at the web site. Soon the drone will be over your house before you finish the sentence.

I signed up for Prime for the streaming service. They had a lot of British shows I wanted to watch. The fast shipping was just a bonus.
