The above link is the ONLY place to talk about your gaming experiences. THIS THREAD IS ONLY FOR LISTS!!!!
THE RULES:
A> Make ONE post here ONLY:
B> Pick 11 games, at least 10 of which you pledge to play 10 times.
--> Don't be a wuss - ideally, make them games that are not 20 minutes long, unless you really want to play it a lot; the longer a game's playtime is, the bigger your bragging rights.
--> Euros are fine, although choosing them may be disadvantageous to your FAT Card (TM) renewal.
--> NO MAGIC THE GATHERING OR OTHER CCGS, although Adventure Time, Food Fight, etc aren't CCGs and are fine.

D> BONUS POINTS: If you complete one game's required 10 plays, write a review and post it to Articles or Blogs. EVERYONE'S opinion here counts, and the more we hear about a game from people who have become experts at it, the better off our collective knowledge will be.

Near Christmas 2016, I'll go ahead and create a new thread with results, or something, to honor those who had the courage and fortitude to buy a game, play it at least 10 times, and elevate our collective consciousness of both the games they played, and the folly of consumerist Cult of the New sheepdom.
There will be prizes of some kind, provided by ME. Some sort of a contest for people that completed it, and I trust you will all be honorable.
GOOD LUCK![/]

Dec 4th (Total: 1)
Back home after a work trip away and right now, this game is top of the charts with me and the missus, even if I won quite comfortably despite a very scrappy game without any successful synergies. I don't think this game will ever get boring, despite featuring several kinds of ideas which are found in other games which are boring. Troyes continues to stand like the colossus of rhodes in the fetid piss water of unimaginative dullards like Stefan Feld.
Dec 5th (Total: 2)
Notable for record high score (2P) of 80 thanks mainly to mashing the Monk-Master Tradesman combo.
Dec 10th (Total: 4)
Two plays, one a 3P with my regular opponents, lost out to "ChaChing"ski my polish buddy who plays every game in "big money strategy" often to great effect, then the wife joined us and somehow ChaChingSki weaseled another win thanks mainly to some hilariously botched efforts on the secret VP cards.
Dec 18th (Total: 6)
Two more plays with the missus, she won both times in the high 50s to my low 50s, one game featuring the wonderful Archer which is the most AT card in the game.
Dec 26th-30th (Total: 9)
Three more plays with her indoors, she won the first two which I think were on boxing day and then the 28th, I didnt do a good job with the event card bonus point dude and both games we struggled to find natural synergies with the cards, the third game tonight was a bit more open for score beasting but we didnt do a great job but anyway I managed to win by a handful of points - just one more game to go for the ten - planned on new years eve
These 10 plays will be in before the new year as long as nothing stops us tomorrow night. Troyes is still fucking brilliant and has fired almost all other euros for me
Dec 31st (Total: 10)
Job done.
55-42 in a bit of a weird game where both of us early on showed our hands and swept our workers out to the different coloured districts a bit independently, at one point two of the red slots were empty which I've not seen before, the game did feature a lesbian princess wedding but it ended up costly for the wife so she had to eat it as I was crowned Le Roi de Troyes for 2015.
Jan 4th
four more plays with the wife as we had an off day, this game continues to be amazing. I think there are something like 350 million combinations of activity cards and even though some obvious power combos will spring to the fore, and some of them do similar things, its amazing how differenly each game develops. I've won with scores in the low 30s and been all the way up to 80. Its crunchy goodness, today even a tie. I'll have to sit down and write a proper review of this game, it would have been easy to throw it to one side after the first play or two since the icons really suck and it has some elements of point salad JASE crap but the way the cards and different ways to get points interact and then how that interacts with your own dice and your opponents really elevates it. Dick Moves are at the fore and have become our new catchphrase playing this.
You owe it to yourselves to not only try this but please give it 3 or 4 games until you get to the point where youre not bewildered by the amount of options and the awfully inconsistent icons.
Plays since list start: 14
jan 7th
A 52-52 tie which I was quite happy with since I got the tough to hide Henry 1st card (and spectacularly failed on the money guy) and kept getting out manoeuvred on the money cranking miller by the missus. I think she erred by not hammering on the banker when shed amassed a huge stash of cash but she was playing a more open strategy she says
At this rate I might have to cancel the whole 10x10 bollocks and just go for 100 Troyes and see how many other games get a look in
Plays since list start: 15
2. Agricola - 2007 (200+/100+)
Jan 4th
Two games of this using the World Championship and Pi deck, despite me having designed one card in the former and our family portrait appearing in the latter, I dont care so much for these "gamerz" decks, I think theyre better suited to the min max androids whove solved the game. I think we might go back just to EIK with maybe the France deck since it has lots of 2P good stuff and extra stone/baking support which needs a boost in 2P. Weve played a few hundred times but not so much in the last year or two. Wife likes it a lot more than I do now, I think I'd rather play it at 3 and 4 player count to get a different slant on it.
play counter: 2
Oh, yeah and I managed to get some roly poly hows yer father action in with the missus inbetween the 6 games we played today. I call that a result baby.
3. Lords of Vegas - 2010 (10/0)
Jan 5th
The day shall be written as wifely humiliation, Twilight Struggle, backgammon and now a 73-54 defeat in Lords of Vegas. Yeah, sure this game needs the full table of 4 (or even 5 using the dice from UP) but it was still a good laugh despite my shitty shuffling leading to some, erm, streaky casino payouts. Still loads of awesome dice rolling drama especially at the end battling for those big casinos. Great game, really should get the non gamers round to try this out with a few beers

Jan 8th
Another 2P affair, this time I was more aggressive early sprawling and took full advantage but once again a constant battle for control of the eventual giant 10 tile silver Tivoli casino was won by the wife, a failed gamble on the last turn stopped me from sprawling a 4 tile into a 5, which would have broken the 54-54 tie, but she had more dolloids so she won that one too god damn it. A fucking great game this is, but it really does need the full complement of players, still we enjoy it even with 2, I think I will put together a proper variant for 2 players before this play list is over

7. Twilight struggle - 2005 (10/10)
Jan 5th
A great long 5 hour game with the wife ending in Turn 7 due to a stupid mistake on my part, headlning Lone Gunman and making an ill advised coup to drop DEFCON to 2 and then after somehow she escaped something like 12 points of pain in Africa and Central America scoring I suddenly realised I'd already spaced a DEFCON suicide card but couldnt get rid of the last ones, I'd misdealt an extra card to myself and my wife graciously agreed to randomly pick one to discard, with 3 cards in hand, 2 were DEFCON suicide and one was Reformers. Of course she picked Reformers leaving me no way out. A bitter end to a titanic game but we were both very rusty and certainly played very badly but who cares, this game is fucking awesome despite the time investment and cruel endings.

Backgammon
Jan 5th
A quick match before we picked the kids up from school and went out in the snow. 3 uneventful race games and 1 more interesting back and forth with lots of blots and aggression. 2-2 in games played but as she'd gammoned me for 2 points in one of the games she was victorious, a bitter pill after the Twilight Struggle debacle earlier in the day. In the last game we were pretty even bearing off but then she rolled 5-5, 6-6 and then 5-5 while I rolled 1,2 then 1,2 then yes, 1 fucking 2. She was pissing herself laughing. Then I spared a moment for the people who come out with shit like they dont like to play "mean" games and feel bad for all the fun they miss out because they cant separate being mean in a game with a real life relationship. The dude who did the art on Race for the Galaxy cards quit halfway through their first game of Twilight Struggle because his wife didnt like the aggression and he rates the game a 5. A fucking 5. My mind was blown, but then this was the same guy that threw a hissy fit along with Tom Lehman when I told them that despite the mainly awesome art and icons on RftG some of it (the prestige pink blob stars) looked jarring and out of place, and the Xeno Invasion stars literally, and I mean THEY ACTUALLY MUST BE Microsoft Word clipart from the 1990s version. The truth hurts I guess.

Doubt I'll hit 10 for most of those, although some of the ones I can play solo (Warhammer, LOTR LCG) have a decent chance, and some things I like to play with my daughter (Colt Express, Burgle Bros., Machi Koro) have a shot. Is it cheating to combine King of Tokyo/NY and Mage Knight/Frontiers? Those would have a better chance of reaching 10 if I could combine them like that.

As much as we play Red Dragon Inn, that game probably goes against the spirit of the lists due to it's brevity.
