Revealed at last, Kanye West's favorite game is... Connect Four.

www.msn.com/en-us/tv/celebrity/kim-karda...fcL&ocid=mailsignout

I've never been a fan of Kanye West, so I am unsurprised that his favorite game is one of my least favorites. Connect Four is more or less just Advanced Tic Tac Toe, and Tic Tac Toe is a solved game that holds little interest for anyone who has completed grade school. About ten years ago, I did some volunteer work with some kids in a rough neighborhood, which mainly involved hanging out in their neighborhood rec center and playing games with them. The kids loved Connect Four, so I played it a lot. And there just isn't much game there. Really, the only entertaining part is when you finish a game and release a lever to drop all the plastic tokens from the grid on to the table. It makes a noisy clatter and the pieces bounce around a bit and sometimes at least one will fall on the floor. Wow!

Kanye always struck me as an exceptionally shallow person with a severe case of narcissism. That intense self-involvement gave him focus and dignity that impressed other shallow people, but much of his vaunted work is built on the labor of many other people who create an illusion of genius. His love for Connect Four exposes the emptiness at the center of his mirror maze.

Anybody else know of a celebrity's favorite game? Were you surprised? How does that game reflect upon them as a person?

Great thread idea. Immediately reminded me of this nice article: Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard love Catan , it seems. While I wouldn't know who he is, I'm sure I know the face from somewhere.
My favourite bit is that they enforce a "very strict eight o’ clock start for game night" as real Eurothusiasts are supposed to. Maybe they have kids and need to get up early or they wanted to get out of there quickly, but still. Gaming is important business.

The article mentions Vin Diesel, Mila Kunis and Woody Harrelson. Would love to know more about their board game collections. Woody is no surprise, as he always seemed like a good one. Vin Diesel is said to be a D&D fan in that article. While they still might be horrible people, everyone mentioned in the article has more to them than meets the eye, I'd go that far.

I hate Catan, but Kristen Bell is so charming that she could make it tolerable. I thought Kunis was more of a console gamer who was also really into World of Warcraft. Vin Diesel is known to be a big fan of D&D.

there's no way Donald Trump likes Puerto Rico but I get the joke.

I think Sarah Huckabee Sanders said good things about Battlestar Galactica at one point.

Megan Fox, like Mila Kunis, is a big console gamer. She used to play a TON of Guitar Hero and Rock Band with Brian Austin Green. She's perfect :(

You’re right. He probably prefers Castellan. All you do is build walls

Oh come on, his favorite game is TRUMP the Game.

Which was an abysmal failure, cheapjack junk, and loved by no one.

Ironically, Trump is probably terrible at Liar's Poker.

And also sold for quite a bit of money on eBay right around election time. I haven't checked to see if that's still the case, but it almost made me regret all the copies I passed up in thrift stores. Almost.

I'm drawing a blank on her name right now, but there was a hot b-movie actress who liked to play Arkham Horror with her husband and his friends. She was a former Penthouse Pet, too, I think.

EDIT: Julie Strain. I can't find a link to prove it, though.

Ten years ago, Jessica Alba said that her favorite board game was Apples to Apples. I wonder what she thought about Cards Against Humanity.
