We've hit Maximum Lucas

The front page news for FFG is currently all Star Wars. They've been close a couple times, but always squeaked in something about LotR or KeyForge or Arkham. Nothing but Tattooine and star destroyers now. The transformation is complete.

I just want Rogue One character packs for Imperial Assault announced. Guessing its not happening if they haven't already. Shame because IA is practically Rogue One: The Board Game.

I'm not really a Star Wars fan. I liked the originals as a kid, but Lucas' storytelling doesn't really work for me and every film since has been worthless, IMO (Small allowance for Rogue One actually telling a halfway decent story that doesn't have "Happily ever after..." as an ending.) As much as I liked Queen's Gambit, I sold it for a very nice chunk of change and I did play (and enjoy) X-Wing until I decided to sign off on collectible games. I'm tempted by Rebellion because people keep talking about how much like War of the Ring it is. But I still own War of the Ring, so I probably won't bother.

I mean, on the positive side, they're almost all good games. But it does feel like too much.

I actually really like Star Wars, but I'll also readily admit that it's mostly cheesy sci-fi goofiness. The culty-ness of SW's following baffles me to this day. Apparently they buy a lot of board games.
