Creature From the Black Lagoon Auction

I randomly stumbled across this Creature From the Black Lagoon board game auction on eBay - currently going for $460+ with 15 bids. I err, what?

Is this some rare game known to be valuable? Presumably for its collectibility more than its gameplay... Just thought this was wacky so I wanted to share.

Totally a collectible, not really a “gamer” concern. People that collect classic monster stuff are going to bid this through the roof- it is quite rare and it’s like 65 years old.

Plus look at it...it’s beautiful!

Sad thing is that it’s not any more than people are paying for Kickstarter junk that will lose its value after a year.

There are a lot of Creature fans. Many of them are also tiki fans, and that kind of lubrication helps bidding.
