Games You Regret Trading or Selling

Yeah, I hear you, selling them is a hassle. I just give them away, but I'm in an ok enough position to do that financially these days---for now, talk to me 6 months from now!

Copies in the UK for a good price at the moment.

I've been reviewing all of the games I've sold off, and with the exception of maybe Earth Reborn, Duel of Ages II and Pax Pamir, I'm ok with letting go of most of them. What I regret is not getting my family to enjoy playing more of them, as opposed to just humoring me on Father's day or some other guilt expedition.

While games I bought back include Buffy the Vampire Slayer because it is a classic and Earth Reborn because I didn't understand it when I originally had it,

I can now add Sons of Anarchy with the two clubhouse expansions, a complete buy-back. I realised it was a pretty well-done game and with it no longer being available the price it was available to me for made it a no-brainer.
Plus a couple of years back also bought back TI3 + expansions.

I sold Chaos in the Old World before the prices went really crazy. Always regret moving it on a little too quickly but it just didn't gel with my group.

This probably isn't the right forum, but I couldn't find "What Boardgames are you SELLING?"

Someone just posted on BGG looking for Camp Grizzly w/ campground expansions. Offering up to $500!

I'm trying to figure out what my price is, or if I like it too much to ever sell. I mean, it's just a game, right?

$500? That's crazy. Or maybe I'm crazy. Or both of us. I don't think that I could spend $500 for a boardgame plus a few expansion card packs. But I also don't think that I would be willing to sell my Camp Grizzly plus expansions for $500 or even $1000, unless I had an absolutely foolproof way to replace them immediately.

There is no game I own or I have ever owned that I would not sell in a hot minute for $500.

Wow, that's tempting but I don't know if I could stomach selling mine. It's not like I'd want to buy a bunch of games with it so I would just pay some bills and the money would be forgotten.

I'm in the camp of "every game I have could go for $500 easy." The game is just a bit of plastic and cardboard voodoo that facilitates fun with my friends in a way that -- for us anyway -- billiards, gin rummy, watching sports, etc. do not.

Lots of games facilitate this. All of them can be had for less than $500.

That said, I kind of wish I had Tide of Iron again. But, I doubt it would get played as I rarely have me plus one.

Weirdly, I regret selling my Zombicide Black Plague collection.
Less so because I enjoyed the game. I was merely okay. Instead, I regret it because I think of all the cool war bands I could create while playing Rangers of Shadow Deep or Frostgrave instead.

In lieu of that option, I play FG and RoSD with my Heroscape collection and my little universe seems to be in alignment.

I sold my KS version of Coconuts. Then I bought it again on a ding and dent sale. Now, I'm thinking about selling it again. Life is strange.

I hold onto some titles with the idea that I'll eventually play 'em and/or paint 'em. I painted Earth Reborn, but only played a friend's unpainted copy once.

I'll hold onto Camp Grizzly for a bit longer. I adore the illustrations.

I bet I could get close to $500 for Duel of Ages II. I don’t think I’ll be selling it anytime soon though.
