I have a dumb question. Both Rallyman games that I was invited to sent me an email notification that I'd been invited. But I started two games with some friends and they didn't get emails. I'm looking at one of those tables now (Yahtzee, just to test things out) and I can Open Table to Other Players or Quit. It just says configuring table. Do I have to do something else to say "Okay, these are all the players I want, go ahead and invite them"?
It only sends an email to you if you're not currently online. And if everyone hasn't accepted (i.e., four people are in on a game you set up for four people) the interface is a little vague. The invites are out and the game is running, but it doesn't look like it. If you set up a game for four and you only invite two more guys you'll hang until you fill the fourth slot.

Pulling this out for emphasis. It's easy to miss. Also, you can change the number of players after inviting (like if two accept, you can reduce the total count to three and it will let you start).
I may have played hundreds of games of TTA on the app I consider it my favorite boardgame, so yknow. I'm happy to play as many times as anyone wants basically in perpetuity, we can talk strats etc
The group that taught me in person is a bunch of literal WBC sharks, so that probably helped forge me in a particular hot fire lol

I've played a ton with Ah_Pook on the app, and it's absolutely true. I took a long break from playing there, and I considered myself greatly improved by only losing by 15, not 150.
Gg @dysjunct, Jake, Matt. I'm into playing more in the app, there are a lot of extremely annoying usability issues with TTA on BGA though so I think I'm good on playing there. I also fully understand if y'all don't want to play with me again, no hard feelings

You played a great game. It is a difficult game to jump back into, and I was rightfully schooled. Maybe I'll do better next time. lol
BTW, if anyone wants to invite me to play stuff, and you don't mind async stuff spanning multiple timezones, I'm pretty much game. I just have the one Rallyman game going on right now. I don't have a premium account so I'm depending on all y'all to invite me.
Unlike Yucata.de, BGA doesn't have the option of inviting 10 people to a 5-player game (so only the interested or quick get in). But I learned a trick over the weekend that has a similar effect.
When you create a game, you can restrict it to a group. Then you don't invite anyone and post the link to the game here. I'd like to try this at some point, so everyone make sure you're in the There_Will_Be_Games group.
I'd be up for Gaia Project and I've got premium. I'm confused as hell by this set up interface (which is why I don't use BGA as often as I might prefer). I can create a table and invite people but am not sure how to create a general invite for the group for sharing here.
