I coach an Under 9 Rugby team (game slightly more brutal than American football but with less padding) and when numbers are short in training the coaches play against the kids to 'get them used' to the contact ... and if any of them had been giving me lip earlier on you can guarantee they will end up face in the mud with the other kids told to pile on top of them.

And just for those who doubt the physicality of this 'foreign' sport, I missed last week but apparently one boy broke his collarbone and another ended up being checked at hospital for a bruised shoulder.
