Bottle Imp aint bad, but I find every game tends to play out the same.

Are you going to ask for your money back too or just demand that Frank send you his copy of Starcraft as payment for offending your sensibilities?

Edit: and we have an unregistered guest viewing the forums. Expect this thread to be reported with great indignation on Other Leading Boardgame Sites shortly.

As an aside, since everyone else seems to so anxious to be a Leading Boardgame Site[tm], what is F:AT? "A Trailing Boardgame Site?" "A Slipstreaming/Drafting Boardgame Site [for you racing fans]"? "An Aimlessly Wandering Boardgame Site"? Inquiring minds want to know...

Wait a minute...this is a board game site?

WHY DIDN'T ANYBODY TELL ME? Cancel my membership right now! I've seen what they do at those places!

But, if F:AT were to open a forum devoted solely to discussing your character and load it with banner ads, enough revenue should be generated to allow Ken to quit his day job and retire to a life of luxury in the Dominican Republic.

Hrrmmm... I smell a business opportunity...

I want the 42 cents back, which I earned this site for clicking the google ads.

Please call it a hobby site. You know - like hang-gliding.

I looked through Terry Bailey's game collection at BGG, and while he does look like a boring Euro-wanker, he doesn't completely suck. He rated Cash'n'Guns an 8.

That was just because he thought the artwork was of such a high quality...

Please don't harass the guy, really. But in case you were curious . He really likes him some Caylus. He rated Dragon Dice a 4--come on--who does that? ASL gets a 5. Meh. His 10's? Caylus, as noted, and Flaschenteufel? What's that?

Flaschenteufel is a really fun trick taking card game. You'd like it there is a major screwage factor.

Righto, get this game. Someone gets royally hosed every single turn. Getting stuck with the bottle imp means burning in hell for eternity. Whee!

From "The Bottle Imp" by Robert Louis Stevenson:
"Here is my respects," said Keawe, who had been much about with Haoles in his time. "Yes," he added, "I am come to buy the bottle. What is the price by now?"
At that word the young man let his glass slip through his fingers, and looked upon Keawe like a ghost.
"The price," says he; "the price! you do not know the price?"
"It is for that I am asking you," returned Keawe. "But why are you so much concerned? Is there anything wrong about the price?"
"It has dropped a great deal in value since your time, Mr. Keawe," said the young man, stammering.
"Well, well, I shall have the less to pay for it," said Keawe. "How much did it cost you?"
The young man was as white as a sheet. "Two cents," said he.
"What?" cried Keawe, "two cents? Why, then, you can only sell it for one. And he who buys it--" The words died upon Keawe's tongue; he who bought it could never sell it again, the bottle and the bottle imp must abide with him until he died, and when he died must carry him to the red end of hell.

Steve's one of them fancy, smart guys!
