I predict some eye rolling at that reception.

I can comment on this. Getting married (or not) is among the most important decisions you will ever make in your life. If board games are so important to you that you have to make them a part of that...get a life. I mean, seriously. Getting married in a game store? That has got to be the lamest wedding thing I've ever heard of. Sorry to be a judgmental ass about it (not really) but if you can't put the board games away for your wedding...then what are your priorities?

Eye-rolling? I predict a lot of "oh shoot, we can't make it."

Eh, if it makes them happy. Seems more fulfilling than shopping venues and flowers to me.

Yeah, I'm with wadenels. Whatever makes them happy. Some folks get married by a JotP at IHOP. who gives a shit?

I'd rather attend to a wedding ceremony in a gaming store than in a church.

I wish them the best. (I really don't mean that sarcastically.)

Well of course, regardless of my ruthless judgment, I hope it's whatever makes them happy and they remember it fondly for years to come. Still think it is lame, not going to be dishonest about it. But I'm sure someone would think my nerd wedding was lame.

Let's be realistic here; Most weddings are lame.

My "WTAF" commentary is based solely on the fact that he went through a borderline batshit crazy level of effort to design a board game-slash-guestbook with a "hidden message" that only an NSA cryptographer WHO KNOWS THE RULES OF THE GAME could possibly hope to decipher, and only then if he had a hexadecimal editor installed on his MSDOS 6.22-loaded PC-XT (with Turbo button).

Holy Christ in heaven. I truly wish them the best, but dude probably learned to eat pussy by watching ASCII-based porn.

BGG is down. Apparently they think that watching some people play Arkham Horror is a suitable substitute.

They're down for like the fuckteenth night in a row. I'm not sure how long it takes to migrate a database, but it seems like they're doing it wrong.

I like how they've had multiple outages right after their latest annual "fundraising" drive just ended.
