My avatar used to be an image of Clarence Boddicker from Robocop that was taken from one of a series of villain portraits made by artist Tim Doyle for a 2008 screening at the Alamo Drafthouse.

My current avatar is a pic of the toughest monster from the Dragon Master Flipsiders game. They were little board games whose boards folded up into a fake cassette, and the audio tape reels had numbers on them and were spun by a little lever in lieu of rolling dice. I picked it because, out of context, the image looks like a counter from some old impenetrable fantasy wargame from the late 70's/early 80's, when in actuality it's from some goofy, gimmicky RNG-fest of a board game from the late 80's that has one page of rules. And I also like the art for the demon, and all the monsters in general.

It's from a game called Taiko no Tatsujin (Taiko Drummaster)

My first avatar was the space marine of the Space Crusade box, mainly because I am a gruff bugger. Then I changed to art from the TV series my favourite boardgame is based on, Battlestar Galactica - first it was the Caprica Six 'Never forget who the enemy is!', then I decided I just liked the 'We will defeat the Cyclons, So Say We All' way more.
Unfortunately you guys only get to stare at my avatar, I have the five art prints mounted on my living room wall to look at.

I'm a big bearded baby.

Mine is a picture of Godzilla facepalming. I like Godzilla (especially the Showa era stuff) and I thought the pic looked funny. That's about the length of thought that went into mine to be honest.

The only time that I have ever used a different avatar picture here was during our forum game of Battlestar Galactica. I was playing Apollo, so I used his pic for my profile.
