According to gofundme page:
In late September, 2018, Sean Aaberg suffered a major stroke affecting his cerebellum and brainstem. Although we do not yet understand why Sean - a young, healthy man - had such a significant stroke, we do know that it has left him in critical condition, severely weakened and requiring life support.
We have a lot to be thankful for: Sean is alive, awake, interactive, and making steady improvement day by day. And despite the severity of his stroke, he is keeping in remarkably good spirits. However, his doctors estimate that a full recovery could take several months and require extensive rehabilitation.
In addition to being an incredibly talented visual artist and small business-owner (Goblinko), Sean is a loving husband to Katie and father to three young boys: Otto, Henry, and James. We anticipate that the Aaberg family will have significant financial costs associated with Sean's prolonged illness and recovery. Your donation will help defray these expenses and will allow the Aaberg family to focus as much of their energy as possible on helping Sean get better.

That sucks.
A friend of mine has been dating a girl for a while, like 3 years, and they’re both mid 30’s. She flew to CA and a clot ran up her leg into her brain and she suffered a stroke. She’ll be OK mostly, but fuck me is this stuff scary
