Perhaps it's not so much what he said, as how he said it. Mechanized Kraken indeed.

Pity Warhammer doesn't have electronics, and so the Kraken is almost surely steam-powered. Probably with a Warpstone boiler given that they are Chaos dwarves.
It won't break down as much as randomly explode in a cloud of glowing fog fog. (That is a more curious question. WFRP old Warpstone was always green and glowing, but 2nd edition had it as black/grey stone that emits "blackness".

Also, can I just say Games Workshop have the most absurdly un-user friendly e-store I've come across from a major retailer in some considerable time. I just had to talk a relative through it - absolute rubbish. Why hide the checkout button? Why so many steps, so many different pages? Why require registration and a confirmation email? It seems as through their web design people had never heard of, or used, Amazon.

It isn't like GW is selling to discounting retailers who are receiving shipments over the next few days and immediately selling them to customers so that those of us who ordered it direct from GW have to pay more AND end up getting it later.
And it isn't like GW witheld the option of nipping over to the new GW Atlanta store which opens on October 1st, so I could just pick it up there on Saturday.
The bits still look pretty. I did forget how much GW sucks, though. Go Mantic!
