Due to ship in mid-June @ $105, so likely $85ish from wherever you get your GW product these days. Price is about $25 more than I'd have hoped for something this simple but GW plastics pricing +big sprue of 'nids + 1xSpace Marine Scout Squad and, well, the price is right about what you'd expect it to be.

This one kind of surprised me as I'd thought GW's revived board[ish] game line was moving more toward the new {Space Hulk aside] rather than the reincarnated. That said, always thought this was a fun little game...

EDIT: God, how I hate the way GW handles its 8 billion web sites.

To get a working version of that link, try this:
www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&...gtoAJieEVq5jXYbMMuaQ

and THAT resolves to the link above.

Edit2: And to get that monstrosity of a link or whatever the new working version will be tomorrow, I'll just leave the google search link here for posterity's sake:

www.google.com/search?q=lost+patrol+game

I'd like them to re-release Dark Future. It will never happen, but I have this faint hope if the next Mad Max movie smashes at the box office.

Hah, I was about to say "wow, $100+ for a game worth no more than $40".

I think the USD MSRP is $60.

The interesting thing with this one is you get actual modelling sprues from the boxed sets. The scouts have the options of shotguns, bolter or bolt pistol/knives, plus chainsword for the lieutenant and a heavy bolter. I don't think it's worth it from a pure board gamer perspective. You do get *really* nice minis, altough the 'Stealers are not my favorite. I wish they had gone with the Hormagaunts instead...

The stupid thing about the game though... you're trying to reach the freaking drop pod. What's the point? It's a one way vehicle that requires other vehicle for exfil...

There is a PNP version called Patrol: Lost in BGG.

I made a PnP version last year. A few storm troopers classed it right up.

As a follow up: the PnP cost me approx. $25, and three hours of labor. The majority of the money was spent on the Storm Troopers via CSI.

It's fun, light, and deadly. My wife enjoys playing the jungle, so that's a plus. The Storm Troopers rarely accomplish their objective.

I was turned onto the game because of the designer, Jake Thorton. He made DreadBall, and if any of you FATies recall my posts - I'm a DreadBall fanatic. It's funny, but Jake didn't know about the reprint until a fan sent him the link. He looks forward to checking it out, and seeing if GW made any rules revisions.

I have hi-res scans of the game if anyone wants them.

Also, FUCK YEAH. This is my fave GW game behind Hulk.

GW's unwillingness to adapt to this thing called "The Inter-net" never ceases to amaze. How difficult is it to use a basic template for all of their international servers and coordinate new material with appropriate translations as simple drop-ins (i.e. put this new page in the same spot everyone else is)? But this is the company that, well into the 2000s, was still referring to online feedback from its fans as "internet crazies" as opposed to its real fans, who were sci-fi wargamers that somehow hadn't discovered computers by then. But, y'know, they're not a games company, despite the name. They're a modeling company that just has some guidelines attached. (And now you understand Age of Sigmar!)

There is, of course, zero promotion of this on the main page. Unreal.

Not if you ended up going through to the Australian site and not noticing that the flag in the corner had the stars in all the wrong places, as I apparently did. Frank and his band of merry countrymen are gonna pay that $105. And probably a billion dollars in shipping.....

Oops.....
