I want your junk/throwaway miniatures! was created by Michael Barnes
So my kids are REALLY enthusiastic about painting, but not quite ready for me to buy them a $50 box of hobby figures. The Bones stuff I got them is OK, but they are somewhat frustrated by some of them- very small,
Low detail.
So do any of y'all have any junk/scrap minis I can buy from you? Looking specifically for any kind of robots, monsters, "girly" stuff (but not "sexy" stuff), animals...kid-appeal things. Only want plastic, no metal. Want cheap stuff they can mess up to their heart's content,
At least until I can force them to start base coating everything for me.
Let me know!

Right there in the title - Barnes wants your Junk! He must have finally "Gone Pro" at Shower Rescue.
Unsure on why we have to destroy our miniatures.

I hear you on the non-sexay minis, but are you looking for any specific genre/range?
Try these (both cheap and resin/plastic):
Dreadball Void Sirens

Impact! Amazons

Speaking of Dreadball...your Miniature Market has it on clearance, but the site isn't helpful. See what you can get there. Here's a nice pack of 4 MVPS (non-metal) and the character on the far right is a female. Good mix of robot, aliens, etc right here.

EDIT: Dude, you really need them going to town on select DDAS minis. Skeletons, zombies (any type), bears, gibbering mouthers, otyughs, etc. Lots of soft plastic here that you already own of creatures that can't really be painted 'wrong'. Plus, they'll be more charming haven been painted by the kids.

Ha, I just thought about that this morning. We have like 120+ D&D minis. And some of them are larger, which is good for them. I painted one of the Feral Trolls in a spare 30 minutes today, he actually turned out to be the best thing I've done yet. Easy, but a little drybrushing and ink shading made him look pretty good.
